Sunny Ham is currently a professor in the department of Food & Nutrition at Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. She is also in charge of the Head of Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management in the Yonsei Graduate School of Human Environmental Sciences. Having a BS and a MS from Yonsei, and a Ph.D from Purdue University, she worked for the University of Kentucky in Lexington, US, as a tenure-track assistant professor and a tenured-associate professor.

She has actively involved in international organizations for conferences and journals, while a conference chairman and committee. She served for many academic journals as a co-editor, associate editor, and editorial board, including Journal of Business Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research, and Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Sciences. She published more than seventy scholarly papers at the top-tier journals, including International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing, and Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research.
