Dr. Xin Huang is the Executive Director of Digital Tourism Research Center of Guangdong Ocean University. He received his M.Sc and Doctoral degree in hotel and tourism management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  He is the founder of Wintour Information Technology Co. Ltd. which is a well-known technology provider in China’s hospitality industry, and promoting the digital transformation of hospitality and tourism enterprises with marketing technologies.

Dr. Huang is not only an expert with rich practical experience and theoretical background on digital marketing and operation in the field of tourism, but also an expert on digital marketing and operation courses in tourism education. He aims to transform his years of digital marketing practice experience in the hospitality and tourism industries into education programs of tourism colleges and universities, making contributions to cultivate tourism talents in the Internet era.

Dr. Huang’s main research interests are in the areas of digital marketing, customer relationship management, digital transformation and e-hospitality education.
