Dr. Shu-Ying (Sami) Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Culinary Arts at National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT), Taiwan. She received her bachelor’s degree with Distinction in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management from Iowa State University, USA, as well as a Master’s degree in Foodservice and Lodging Management. She earned her doctoral degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In addition to her academic role, Dr. Lin has also served as the Chief of the Employment and Incubation Service Section at NKUHT’s Research and Development Office.
