Dr Chloe S. Kim is a Lecturer in the School of Hospitality and Tourism. Her courses are inter-disciplinary and have an emphasis on equipping students with practical skills for their future careers in the world of digital and social, but also in bringing innovative service experience design perspectives that apply across the fields of hospitality, tourism and events.
Building on her doctoral research and her industry experiences in brand design and management prior to her academic career, Dr Kim’s research focuses on the area of digital and social media marketing. She has a particular interest in consumer perspectives and the relationships formed between brands and customers within the ever-changing online sphere. Her research work has been published in the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Event Management and the Journal of Hospitality Marketing & Management. Apart from research and teaching, she has been involved in providing various digital services for APacCHRIE since her first APacCHRIE conference in 2015, where she served within the organising committee.
